The Little Red Lighthouse

To commemorate National Lighthouse Day, I decided to go see the Little Red Lighthouse. It's right in my backyard. But one wrong turn led me to New Jersey and another led me down a wooded path and through an underground tunnel that I swore would result in a scene straight out of Law and Order: SVU. While the sun was still up, I finally made it to the Little Red Lighthouse. No, this photograph doesn't show off its shiny red coat but I love it for the shadows, the lines and that beacon, the sun, doing the job that the Little Red Lighthouse has done for many a seaman, lead the way.
